The elegant Bakoua seems to step gracefully down the landscaped hillside to the private beach at the edge of the sea. It has been one of Martinique’s finest hotels for many years and, after recent refurbishing, it is more splendid than ever. Although the guest rooms are small, common areas are vast and elegantly furnished. All guests enjoy air-conditioned accommodations with TV, mini-fridge, marble bathroom, and either a terrace or balcony. Ask for a room facing the water – you’ll never notice the lack of space.
